Enjoy a beautiful ride through the woods and around the inviting cross
country course at Ayer Mountain Farm while testing your knowledge of hunt
etiquette and execution of commonly occurring obstacles and jumps!
Class List
Field Hunters: All jumps required – Heights 2.6-3ft
Novice: Pick and choose – Heights 2-2.6’
Hilltoppers: Pick and choose – Heights 2ft cross rails
Log Hoppers: Walk/Trot Pace – Ground poles
Open Divisions: Riders not affiliated with a hunt -“Hunt” obstacles not required
Masters’ Cup: Members only speed event – Pick and choose – Heights 2-2.6’
Teams of 2-3 riders can compete in any division. Scoring is based on the performance of all horses and riders on the team
Riders will be asked to perform a variety of Hunt Maneuvers throughout the ride such as, “Hold Hard; “Gone Away”; “Ware Staff”, etc. You will be judged on how well you execute them. In the jump field you will judged on overall performance.

Liability form for each rider must be signed and brought the day of the event.
Trainers cannot sign for minors. Parent or guardian must sign.

- Helmets, boots, bridles and saddles with stirrups required.
- Carpooling is encouraged to allow for ample parking.
- Coggins and Rabies vaccination certificate must be shown upon request.
